Hi hans, there appeared to be plastic flanges in the casing so that if you were to twist the 2 halves the glass vials would break. Re cling film remember that you would still get the ink on the clothing. the glass vials of dye are in contact with the clothing on the inside.

Interesting article.

Did you find what mechanism was in place to actually break the glass?

not to give anyone any ideas but I guess brute force combined with something like shrink wrap, to contain the ink, could do the trick to.

Looking at a large amount of websites i think the data leaking has just begon.
most services i use can send me my password in cleartext via email when clicking on the forgot password link.
When a password is recoverable it might be encrypted but definatly not hashed.

I think that there should be clear guidelines when working with user data especially with usernames and passwords ,possibly even sanction a website when the data isn't secured properly.

Just my 2 cents.

Hey, this was my response to you on twitter when you asked about the MS cloud advert! "8 Mar @quentynblog what is the #cloud ?" :-)

Could you do a post about cloud security concerns such as foreign government data protection policies when hosting remotely "on the cloud"?

Interesting that Stephen Elop worked at Microsoft prior to Nokia. I suppose it would be a great business development plan from Microsoft management to plant him in Nokia in an effort to try and help MS's chances of competing in the smartphone market.

With this alliance and MS's prior smartphone track record, perhaps, Nokia will go back to making rubber boots in the not too distant future?
